STIRK HOUSE WEDDING
A sunny & fun packed wedding for Chloe & Paul back in June at Stirk House. Wayne Farrow nailing the entertainment once again to make the new Mr & Mrs Morgans day, bloody fantastic !!
Chloe & Paul tell us a bit about their day.
Our wedding really was the absolute best day ever, we had all of friends and family with us, and what made it more special, we had our two children as part of the bridal party too.
Paul proposed whilst on a family holiday to Ibiza. It was meant to so magical, but we all ended up with terrible sea sickness, so when he finally popped the question, we felt as sick as dogs !!
We managed to plan the whole wedding in 7 months, and to top that off we decided to move house, and I was pregnant at the time. The week before the wedding, everything had been arranged, a few last minute items didn’t arrive, but apart from that planning within the 7 months wasn’t too stressful.
I chose the dress from Lulu Browns Clitheroe, and eventually chose a Justin Alexander gown. I tried on a lot of dresses when I was pregnant and could not find one I liked, as I couldn’t get a real feel for it being pregnant. I ended up waiting util Lola was born, which left me with 2 months to the date of the wedding!! Several people had told me about Lulu Browns in Clitheroe and the dresses were beautiful, and the they were so helpful.
We wanted our day to be about having fun, so we booked Wayne Farrow, and absolutely made our day. He was so entertaining and all the guests are still talking about him now.
Advice for planning a wedding – don’t take everything too seriously, everything always falls together on the day. The venue look after all your needs, more than you can imagine. Don’t stress yourself out over everything having to be perfect, it will be the perfect day regardless of what’s on your tables!!
